Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop residential projects, including new builds and listed buildings, with a focus on creating unique and functional spaces
  • Utilize AutoCAD LT and other design software to create detailed designs and specifications
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences, ensuring that design solutions meet their needs and expectations
  • Work closely with the team to ensure timely project completion and high-quality results
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in detailing for new, existing, and listed buildings, as well as UK Building Regulations and construction methods
  • Prepare and present design concepts, specifications, and schedules to clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience in residential project design, including new builds and listed buildings
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD LT and other design software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
