Job Title: Yard Operative

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Yard Operative to join our team at Balloo Hire Centres. As a key member of our welfare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our yard area, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure welfare units and portable toilets are cleaned and checked ready for customer hire.
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding the receiving and dispatch of equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe onsite yard area.
  • Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.
  • Work as an effective member of the welfare team.
  • Assist in loading and unloading of equipment.
  • Direct customers to safe parking/loading areas.
Requirements:
  • Forklift truck licence (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
