Electrical Teacher Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Teacher to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment - Education. As an Electrical Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a diverse group of learners, including 16-19 year olds and adults or apprentices.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical education and experience in teaching Level 2 and Level 3 courses. You will also have the opportunity to teach apprenticeships at Level 3, which involve students attending college one day a week and working four days.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach electrical courses to students at Level 2 and Level 3
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Work with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Contribute to the development of the electrical education program
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in electrical education
  • Experience in teaching Level 2 and Level 3 courses
  • Ability to develop and deliver lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
