Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at Adrian Fisher Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting activities for the business, including its subsidiaries and joint ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the Managing Director and the Board, including monthly management accounts, project summaries, and cash flow forecasts.
  3. Accounting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all accounting, tax, and corporate reporting requirements, including corporation tax returns and VAT returns.
  4. Project Management: Oversee project costs and ensure that abortive costs are highlighted for write-off on a timely basis.
  5. Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the company's financial systems are secure and accurate.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including property acquisitions and sales.
  7. Insurance and Compliance: Oversee the company's insurance program and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  8. HR and Payroll: Oversee external HR and payroll services and ensure any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  9. Office Management: Manage the company's office, including lease, utilities, and other expenses.
  10. Property Management: Manage the company's portfolio of rental properties, including rent collection and maintenance.
