Pay Rates: £23.50 per hour
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 8-18.00 (3 days 8-18 and 1 day 8-17.30)
Job Overview:
This role requires a skilled radiographer to ensure the smooth running of the MRI service. The successful candidate will be responsible for manipulating and manoeuvring radiographic equipment and patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images within the department's protocols and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explain procedures to patients to facilitate their full understanding and co-operation throughout the examination.
- Communicate with clinicians, ward staff, and patients concerning preparation for imaging and patient management.
- Liaise with other departments to facilitate patient referral and management.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of radiographic protocols and procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
