Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to lead our client's well-established care home in Brighton. As a seasoned care professional, you will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality care to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a dedicated team of care professionals, promoting a culture of excellence, respect, and inclusivity.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the care home maintains its Good CQC rating by adhering to all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Care Delivery: Oversee the care and support provided to residents, particularly those with dementia, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement care plans that reflect the individual needs and preferences of each resident.
- Resource Management: Effectively manage budgets, resources, and staffing to ensure the smooth operation of the care home.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to promote the care home's reputation and service quality.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 and 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role within a care home setting.
- Dementia Care: Strong understanding and experience of dementia care.
- CQC Ratings: Demonstrable experience in maintaining Good CQC ratings or improving care standards.
- Care Philosophy: A commitment to delivering person-centered care and upholding the highest standards of care quality.
