**Flight Simulator Mechanic Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Simulator Mechanic to join our team at Jet2. As a Flight Simulator Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our flight simulators, which are used for pilot training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on flight simulator systems, including mechanical, electrical, and visual display systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing and verification of system performance to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Identify and rectify defects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Flight Simulator Engineers to ensure seamless operation of the simulators.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as fault identification and rectification techniques.
  • Excellent IT skills and a logical, methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to brief and debrief crew members as required.
