Job Overview: In the role of Multi-Skilled Technician, you will be tasked with delivering extensive building fabric maintenance services across multiple sites. This position encompasses a combination of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responsive maintenance duties, both inside and outside, to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities. Your skills will play a crucial role in sustaining services and reducing costs by managing work internally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute PPM and reactive maintenance on building fabrics, including but not limited to:
    • Structural repairs
    • Fabric upkeep
    • Painting and finishing
    • Plumbing and drainage solutions
    • Carpentry
    • Scheduled maintenance tasks
  • Guarantee that all maintenance tasks are carried out to a high standard and within set timeframes.
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to determine maintenance requirements and address them swiftly.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and contractors as necessary to complete tasks effectively.
  • Maintain precise records of all maintenance activities, including work completed, materials utilized, and time invested.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies consistently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor and fostering positive relationships with clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ Level 2 Trade qualification (mandatory)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role within a retail or commercial setting
  • Strong knowledge of building fabric maintenance across various trades
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
