About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Calibration Engineer to join our team at Trescal, a leading calibration services company. As a Senior Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Calibrating measuring instruments and repair facilities to ISO9001 and UKAS standards
  • Managing the maintenance of Calibration Certification records and traceability
  • Overseeing the implementation of QHSE aspects of work
  • Leading the Calibration of specialist products
  • Assisting in the development and improvement of Calibration procedures
  • Participating in external/internal audits as required

Requirements

  • Technical qualification such as degree, HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC
  • UKAS Dimensional signatory status
  • Engineering background, ideally within the Aerospace Industry
  • Strong IT skills, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • In-depth understanding and implementation of 17025 Quality Systems
  • Previous Management experience
  • Strong communications skills both to internal teams and external customers
