We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Dietitian to join our team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a highly specialist dietetic service to critical care patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist dietetic services to critical care patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nutrition care plans.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain nutrition policies and guidelines to ensure best practice.
  • Participate in audit and research to improve health outcomes and develop the role and service.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration and evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Membership of the British Dietetic Association and relevant specialist group.
  • Postgraduate experience of working in acute and/or community dietetic services at graduate/band 5 level.
  • Experience in clinical supervision of students, teaching, and education to patient groups and healthcare professionals.
  • Experience of multidisciplinary team working and participation in clinical audit/research.
