Position Overview:
This esteemed legal practice, recognized for its specialization in employment law, is in search of a seasoned Senior Employment Lawyer for a self-employed consulting position. Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior Employment Lawyer, your primary focus will be to deliver expert legal counsel and representation on intricate employment law issues. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Offering strategic legal guidance on complex employment law topics, such as discrimination, wrongful termination, redundancy, and employment agreements.
  • Representing clients in employment tribunals and various dispute resolution forums.
  • Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to bolster case strategies.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
  • Collaborating with clients, colleagues, and external specialists to devise and execute effective legal strategies.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in employment law and advising clients on potential implications.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed attorney with at least 6 years of experience in employment law.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex employment disputes and tribunal cases.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment law, including discrimination, wrongful termination, redundancy, and employment agreements.
  • Strong analytical, research, and drafting capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple cases concurrently.
  • Prior experience in a consulting role is advantageous.
