Cost Estimating Manager

Job Summary
Copello Global is seeking a highly skilled Cost Estimating Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of estimators who work with delivery support leads to generate base cost and provision estimates supported with the relevant basis of estimate documentation across programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of estimators to generate accurate and timely estimates
- Develop and implement standardised approaches to estimating and working with programme leadership teams to determine estimating maturity plans and make prioritisation decisions
- Engage with external customers through pricing and maturity assessment work, providing guidance and direction to team members
Requirements
- Proven experience in estimating in a leadership role within the defence industry
- Previous experience in leading a team through complex projects
- Experience in managing multiple customers and stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to identify areas of improvement
- Operations experience is a must
- Educated to at least degree level and/or equivalent experience
