About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bid Designer to join our team at Impact Food Group, a leading provider of school catering services. As a Bid Designer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and producing high-quality bid or proposal response documents that showcase our company's expertise and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and produce bid or proposal response documents, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Implement and maintain document version control procedures and processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective bid strategies.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create compelling graphical representations of written, numerical, and existing content.
  • Produce high-impact graphics and proposal images that contribute to producing a winning proposal.
  • Ensure all customer-facing documentation and media is of the highest visual impact.
  • Coordinate proposal input from various stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal, and delivery.
  • Champion document management and change control best practices.
  • Ensure proposal documents follow standard formatting and quality standards.
  • Provide advice on flow, language, and grammar to content owners.
  • Consolidate sections and/or documents developed by other team members into the required tender format.
  • Maintain and make available master document sets.
  • Ensure consistent branding for all company-specific documents.
  • Develop proposal graphics that have impact and are easy to interpret.
  • To ensure compliance with required proposal deliverables.
  • To create and manage a range of document and presentation templates.
  • Precisely control and interpret information flow between team members.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment without compromising artistic creativity.
Requirements
  • Degree in Creative/Artistic Discipline.
  • Desktop publishing software skills such as Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Corel, and Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail and a positive team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and proactive to bring forward ideas to constantly evolve our tender collateral.
  • Worked as a designer for a contract caterer would be ideal.
  • Worked on tenders in any format would be a plus, and video creation would be a bonus.
