About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at INSHUR. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust security measures to protect our platform from cyber threats.
  • Develop and maintain custom security tools using Python to enhance our security posture.
  • Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure the security of our cloud infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Provide comprehensive post-mortem reports and data-driven improvement recommendations.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain system usability.
  • Optimize logging, metrics, and monitoring systems to reduce alert fatigue.
  • Secure modern architectures, including service-oriented and microservice-based systems.
Requirements
  • Deep information security expertise with a focus on automating processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cloud and LINUX security experience, with hands-on experience with cloud platforms (especially GCP) and LINUX systems.
  • Advanced technical security skills, including designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code principles, including Terraform.
  • Proactive threat management skills, including regular penetration testing and developing security tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
