The Role: Wastewater Treatment Operator
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Wastewater Treatment Operator to join our team at Beckton Sewer Treatment Works. This is a critical role responsible for the day-to-day operation of our plant, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining the highest standards of wastewater treatment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to Specialist Process Controllers, assisting with process control and optimization.
- Conduct valving operations, isolations, and plant resets as required.
- Liaise with site management to ensure effective communication and implementation of updates and learning initiatives.
- Perform routine checks, maintenance, and operation of mobile plant to ensure uninterrupted process conditions.
- Collect routine samples to track performance data and adjust process conditions accordingly.
- Adhere strictly to legal standards and company health, safety policies.

- Competency in wastewater treatment operations, with a minimum understanding of Wastewater Management (training will be provided for the right candidate).
