About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our client's dynamic team at Kemp Recruitment. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on heavy plant vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repairs: Conduct necessary repairs to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose.
  • Rebuilds: Carry out rebuilds of machinery components to extend their lifespan.
  • Diagnostics and Fault Finding: Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and rectify faults in a timely manner.
  • Safety Inspections: Perform safety inspections to ensure all machinery complies with health and safety regulations.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: A professionally recognized qualification in Heavy Vehicle/Plant Maintenance and Repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent).
  • Experience: Relevant experience in a similar role within the last 2 years.
  • Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence.
  • CSCS Card: While advantageous, it is not essential.
