About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Meeting & Event Operations Manager to join our team at Village Hotels - Ashton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of meetings and events at our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Work closely with our sales team to plan and coordinate meetings and events, ensuring that all details are met and exceeded.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our events team, ensuring that all events run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise during events, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and execution of events.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
