About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Children's Occupational Therapist to join our Community Children's Therapy Team in West Essex. This is a permanent position that will be based predominantly in the Epping Forest area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead service provision in the Epping Forest area, at universal, targeted, and specialist levels.
  • Supervise colleagues and improve the delivery of services.
  • Work closely with our team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Therapy Assistants.
  • Carry a mixed complex caseload of children aged 0-19 years, delivering specialist interventions across a range of areas.
  • Work in settings including schools, community clinics/hubs, homes, and special schools.
  • Provide a high standard of child-centered service delivery, in line with best practice.
  • Have specialist skills in the area of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, supporting service development in this area.

Requirements
  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years pediatric experience, working with a range of conditions.
  • Be innovative and adaptable.
  • Have a passion for improving the outcomes of children and young people within the local community.
  • Strong communication and organization skills, and a flexible approach.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes.
