Job Title: Agency Chemotherapy Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Agency Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to oncology patients in their own homes, working on a temporary contract with our agency.

Job Summary:

This is a community-based role covering the South West London area, with 30-37.5 hours per week available working 4 or 5 days per week. The role will involve seeing patients for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide oncology patients with a range of treatments in their own homes
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality care to patients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure patient safety and well-being
Requirements:
  • Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy is essential
  • Cannulation & Venepuncture experience
  • Driving Licence
  • SACT Passport, or equivalent qualification
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £42-£48 per hour (based on experience)

  • Monday to Friday role
  • Approx. 8 hrs per day
  • Working 4 or 5 days per week
  • No bank holiday working
