Job DetailsSenior Planner, North London - UK South Build Division

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to support our UK Build Division in the South. The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to plan and program the design, procurement, and construction activities associated with our projects. Key responsibilities include leading the program and planning management for the team in the preconstruction and construction phases, developing regular reports to feedback on progress and performance, and collaborating with others to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report back to the Regional Planner on the current program position for all projects on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Regularly review programs, outputs, and phasing with the Regional Planner.
  • Carry out Performance Development Plans (PDPs) with assistant planners and drive through actions/activities identified in their development plans.
  • Lead and coordinate with others in planning and program management in the preconstruction process.
  • Lead and coordinate with others in planning and program management on site.
  • Input to the assessment of the program and entitlements under the contract – coordinate outputs with the management team.
  • Lead input to the program reporting weekly and monthly as required.
  • Report the program position at the monthly contract review meeting.
Qualifications
  • Relevant degree or diploma.
  • Advanced Asta Powerproject Training – Progress Analysis & S-curve reporting.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 Training Managing costs & resources.
  • Stadium experience desired.
  • Advanced contract awareness – Understanding JCT and NEC forms of contract.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK and EU legal framework, in particular contract management.
