R&D Development Specialist

A global Defence client with HQ's around the U.K are looking to recruit an experienced R&D Development specialist to join a new and expanding team that specialise in innovative R&D projects in conjunction with multiple internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a small team of multi-discipline Engineers
  • Support the ongoing delivery of bleeding-edge research activities and sharing the results with internal and external partners
  • Suggest and implement new principles and design practices that utilise good System Engineering methods
  • Work with the project management team to ensure successful delivery of projects that meet time, cost, and quality requirements
  • Bridge the technology relationships between other internal and external divisions
  • Contribute to writing technical content for business cases to grant budget for system research activities

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates working in an innovation/R&D role ideally within Defence, to work on a range of bleeding-edge projects that are created in unison with end clients within the academia, government, and research SME space.
