Job Summary:

Silver Arrow Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Trailer Technician to join our client's team in a permanent role. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the HGV trailer fleet to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain HGV trailers to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Prepare trailers for MOT testing and record any defects
  • Repair minor accident damage and maintain workshop cleanliness

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience working on HGV trailers is essential
  • City & Guilds Level 3 in a related sector is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability
