Housing Resettlement Specialist

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Housing Resettlement Specialist to join our team in the Tower Bridge area. The successful candidate will work in partnership with a Local Authority to provide resettlement support to residents in supported accommodation.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assist residents in securing their next stage housing and provide resettlement support to ensure successful transition into new homes.

* Provide floating support for 6 months and link residents into necessary services to sustain their new home.

* Conduct risk assessments and develop support plans for a caseload of approximately 10 clients to maintain their current accommodation and link into services and activities that promote physical and mental wellbeing.

* Understand the impact of Adverse Child Experiences and provide a holistic key working approach to help residents break the cycle of homelessness.

* Ensure high-quality assessment of risk to residents and colleagues and adhere to all council policies and procedures.

**Requirements**

* Knowledge of the Care Act and Housing legislation and available support for single homeless adults.

* Knowledge of welfare benefits and other support available to residents of supported accommodation.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

**What We Offer**

* A competitive rate of pay of £21+ per hour, negotiable depending on experience.

* A market-leading referral scheme of up to £250 for successful referrals.
