About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal MicroArchitect/Concept Engineer to join our Design Architecture and modeling team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in translating application requirements into microcontroller system architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate customer application needs into models or descriptions of our functional building blocks.
  • Specify cross-functional Building Blocks, acting as the technical expert, and develop the concepts for both hardware and software aspects.
  • Interface between our customers, application engineering and development teams while building cross-functional networks.
  • Own and create the corresponding technical documentations such as Specification, Functional Safety Analysis and User Manual to provide the requested functional descriptions and documents to guarantee the ISO26262 compliance.
Requirements
  • A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in Concept/Architecture, IC design/verification or related fields.
  • Very good knowledge of state-of-the-art high-scale integrated SoC's based on latest technologies, high performance & low power microcontroller product infrastructure.
  • Experience in defining Hardware Specifications and User Manuals.
  • Microcontroller and automotive application knowhow are a plus.
  • Basic knowledge about safety standards and applications (, ISO26262, ISO21434 and/or FMEDA) is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory).
