About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Net Worth Trading Underwriter to join our team at Salus Insurance Services Inc. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a book of new business and broker relationships, focusing on opportunities and trading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a book of new business and broker relationships, focusing on opportunities and trading.
- Maintain broker relationships by offering a high level of customer service and work closely and effectively with the team to ensure that all new business submissions are completed within SLA's.
- Underwrite new business submissions from your panel of brokers for Mid/High Net Worth individuals, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and standards, evaluating risks and determining appropriate coverage and pricing for high value homes, jewellery, and fine art.
- Work closely with the team to ensure that all new business submissions are completed within SLA's.
Requirements:
- A proven track record in underwriting HNW risks (Buildings, Contents & Valuables) as well as good relationship building skills and a strong team player ethos.
- Ability to work in a hybrid working environment with three days a week in the office and two working from home.
