Classroom Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client schools, providing support to teachers and students alike.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide cover for lessons in KS3 and KS4, ensuring that students stay on task and make progress
- Support the ALN coordinator in classrooms with children who have additional learning needs
- Manage the classroom environment, maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring continuity and consistency
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Minimum of 5 GCSE A*-C
- Experience in a teaching or education support role (desirable but not essential)
- Enhanced DBS available on the update service
- Valid registration with the EWC
