Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000+ based on experience

As an Entry-Level Property Conveyancer, you will play a vital role within our client's residential property division.

Your responsibilities will encompass a range of conveyancing activities from initiation to completion, including sales, acquisitions, remortgages, and equity transfers.


Key Duties:

  • Support senior conveyancers in managing a portfolio of residential property cases.
  • Prepare and evaluate legal documents, such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage agreements.
  • Perform property searches and analyze search outcomes.
  • Communicate with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other legal professionals to facilitate seamless transactions.
  • Aid in the preparation and filing of Land Registry applications.
  • Provide clients with regular updates regarding the status of their transactions.
  • Maintain organized and accurate case files and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience as a junior fee earner or paralegal in a residential property team.
  • Solid understanding of the conveyancing process and property law.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in conveyancing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional client service.
