Job Title: Early Years Educator - Level 2

**Job Duties:**
  • Plan and implement activities to meet the individual needs of children, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing constructive feedback to parents and contributing to their overall development.
  • Collaborate with parents and other professionals to support children's development, fostering a sense of community and cooperation.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring transparency and accountability.
**Required Qualifications:**
  • A Level 2 Early Years Educator qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in early childhood education.
  • A valid DBS check, ensuring a safe and secure environment for children.
  • A First Aid certificate, equipping you to respond to emergencies and provide essential care.
**Education:**
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, providing a solid academic foundation.
**Experience:**
  • Previous experience working in an early years setting, honing your skills and expertise.
  • Experience implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging educational experience.
**Knowledge and Skills:**
  • An understanding of child development and learning theories, informing your practice and decision-making.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • The ability to work as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Organisational and time management skills, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of educational programs.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
  • A Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, further enhancing your expertise and career prospects.
  • A SENCO qualification, demonstrating your commitment to supporting children with special educational needs.
**Working Conditions:**
