Working Hours: Flexible Temporary Shifts Available
Compensation:
- Weekdays (Days and Nights): £17.37 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Saturdays (Days and Nights): £20.73 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Sundays (Days and Nights): £21.85 per hour (including holiday pay)

Role Overview:

As an HGV Class 1 Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Transporting temperature-sensitive goods in refrigerated trailers.
  • Conducting regular trunking operations between distribution centers.
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintaining accurate delivery records and logbooks in line with company policies.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and health regulations while on duty.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid HGV Class 1/C+E License with a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
  • No more than 6 penalty points and no DD/DR code convictions.
  • A current DCPC and Tacho card.
  • A strong understanding of driver’s hours and working time regulations.
  • The ability to perform necessary vehicle checks and report any issues accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to on-site health and safety standards.
