We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at Nexgen Group, a leading provider of professional cleaning and grounds maintenance services.

About the Role:

  • As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our office premises.
  • You will work Monday to Friday, 18:00-21:00, and will be required to work 15 hours per week.
  • The hourly rate for this position is £12.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Dust, damp wipe, or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, windowsills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames.
  • Floor Care: Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops, and mop floors with wet or damp mops.
  • Carpet Care: Hoover carpeted areas.
  • Waste Management: Empty waste bins or similar receptacles, and transport waste material to designated collection points.
  • Cleaning Supplies: Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish consumable items, such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels, as required.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks, and clean communal kitchen areas.
