Join Our Team as a Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to join our Design Operations team at NatWest. As a Programme Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the orchestration and optimisation of people, processes, and craft that supports the efficient and effective delivery of design, amplifying design's value and impact at scale.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the programme and portfolio leads with the definition and leadership of strategic change programmes, taking accountability for programme and project lifecycle.
  • Developing the programme in partnership with stakeholders, defining appropriate objectives, structure and scope, utilising designs ops practises of how we work together, how we get work done and how our work creates impact.
  • Identifying and managing the governance and controls appropriate to the complexities of the programme and ensuring that all of the programme deliverables adhere to the agreed governance and risk frameworks.
  • Making sure that delivery of the project outcomes and services from the projects meet programme strategic objectives.
  • Building, managing and maintaining a positive working relationship with senior stakeholders across multiple franchises and functions, influencing decision making in line with business objectives.
  • Own, define and manage programme plans, controls and resource plans and status or progress reporting on plans and controls.

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold an appropriate programme management qualification and have strong communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills, advanced planning and organisational skills, a background of experience working in, or closely with, design functions, and experience of delivering programme management in a technology or IT function.
