Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our client's team in Northampton. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and cross-checking CAD information to ensure accurate site layouts
- Conducting photo-based dilapidation surveys and topography surveys to assess site conditions
- Providing technical guidance to the site team and ensuring that all specifications and standards are met
- Ensuring that all quality assurance processes are in place and that records are kept up to date
- Managing and maintaining accurate records of site activities, including S104 and S38 surveys and street works applications
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the groundworks and civils industry
- Strong technical knowledge and skills, including CAD and surveying
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
