We are seeking a skilled engineer to lead our Professional and Consultancy division, focusing on district energy and heat network consulting. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the journey towards NetZero by driving change and excellence in the heat network sector.

About the Role:

As a Heat Network Engineer Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the company adheres to industry standards and guidelines, conducting performance reviews and optimisation, and engaging with stakeholders to evaluate heat network performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Heat Network (Metering and Billing) Regulations 2014 and relevant amendments.
  • Conduct heat network performance reviews, optimisation, and energy balance reporting.
  • Engage with stakeholders to evaluate heat network performance and discuss strategic plant replacement plans.
  • Supervise heat and cooling network acceptance testing.
What You'll Be Involved In:
  • District energy feasibility and detailed project development.
  • Identifying and exploring district energy network opportunities for residentially managed buildings.
  • Deploying innovative solutions for district heating, cooling, and renewable technologies.
Requirements:
  • BEng in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in heat networks, prioritising operational optimisation over design.
