Job Summary
RPS Group is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Leakage Technician. As a key member of our South East Water contract team, you will be responsible for conducting detailed investigations of clean water networks to identify leakage and unaccounted for consumption.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations of water networks to identify potential leakage points and areas of unaccounted for consumption.
- Utilize specialized equipment to pinpoint leak locations and promote repairs on both public and private property.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure effective repair and maintenance of water networks.
- Perform step testing and pressure zero testing to identify and resolve issues.
- Compile detailed reports using data collection apps to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with water networks and leakage detection.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of correlation, ground mic, quantification, and step testing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- Competent IT skills and ability to learn new software applications.
- Full UK driving license and ability to work in a variety of environments.
