Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Co. Tyrone. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our client's manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, including fault diagnosis and repair.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Collaborate with production staff to resolve equipment-related issues and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior maintenance staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.

Requirements:

  • Time-served and qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering, coupled with strong mechanical skills and 5 years post-apprenticeship industry experience.
  • Previous experience within a maintenance role, preferably in the food industry.
  • Good working knowledge of single and three-phase electrical installations and equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose faults on electrical control circuits, general electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
