We are seeking a skilled Wet Fitter to join our team at Liberty Group, based in Wrexham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive heating system maintenance and repair service to a range of domestic social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake the servicing, repairing, and maintenance of domestic heating systems
- Complete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations
- Some Wet Fitting responsibilities may include installations and repairs of domestic heating systems, including replacements of radiators and valves
- Ensure customer satisfaction and safety
- Participate in out-of-hours works, including overtime and call-outs
- Work to operational procedures, safe working practices, and H&S procedures
- Report all accidents, near-miss events, or potential hazards
- Undertake all other maintenance works within remit
- Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers
- Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent/City and Guilds ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
- LPG unvented oil desirable but not essential
- UNVENTED qualifications desirable but not essential
- Understanding of gas legislation
- Full driving license
- Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice
- Ability to manage own time and workload
- Experience of working with the public, demonstrating excellent customer service
