Quantitative Trading Strategist - Equities

Algo Capital Group is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Trading Strategist to develop and implement mid-frequency quantitative trading strategies in our top-performing Equities team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Portfolio Managers and traders to create algorithms and mathematical models, analyze market data, and implement strategies into production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the trading desk to develop core algorithms and models that drive trading decisions
  • Work with the machine learning lab to develop models that optimize trading strategies
  • Provide high-level technical and investment analytics support to the trading desk
  • Develop and continuously improve trading strategies in collaboration with other researchers
  • Translate algorithms into code and work closely with traders to interpret valuations

Skillset Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a quantitative role within an electronic trading business
  • Advanced knowledge of quantitative techniques to solve complex data-intensive problems
  • Excellent programming skills in C++ and/or Python
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
