We are seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our Residential Property team as a Team Leader, focusing on driving growth and expansion in the local residential property market.

About the Role:

As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans, managing a team of lawyers and support staff, and contributing to the firm-wide strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a business plan to grow the practice and increase market share.
  • Manage and lead a team of lawyers and support staff, including recruitment, performance management, and staff development.
  • Drive business development through existing and new connections, exploring new work types and opportunities for diversification.
  • Provide day-to-day management of team members, including technical matters, financial management, and compliance.
  • Instill the company culture and values throughout the team.
  • Act as the initial point of escalation for client feedback and complaints handling.
  • Oversee training and development of junior team members.
  • Work closely with high-end property finders and estate agents to develop relationships.
  • Act for a range of clients on diverse residential property matters.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' PQE at a strong regional or City firm.
  • Experience in mainstream residential real estate work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong academic background.
  • A following of clients.
  • High attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
  • Flexible approach to work with ability to meet client deadlines.
  • Interest in business development and ability to meet demands of high-value conveyancing.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office software, time recording software, Outlook, and digital dictation.
