Business Systems Analyst (Finance) Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our client's team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and experience supporting ERP systems.

The role will involve working with the client's existing ERP systems to deliver value-added solutions that shape and support business processes. This project will focus on the Purchase Ledger and E-invoicing modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Requirements gathering for system changes and stakeholder updates
  2. Managing and documenting system changes through to implementation
  3. Coordinating with third-party software partners for system changes and escalations
  4. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of changes to ensure they meet requirements
  5. Upgrade, service pack, and fix testing in line with policies
  6. Providing third-line support for business systems
  7. Assisting with the development of training materials
  8. Maintaining and configuring systems
Requirements:
  1. Strong business analysis experience in a similar role
  2. Experience supporting ERP systems (e.g. COINS, Dynamics, Oracle, SAP)
  3. Experience working across business finance functions (e.g. purchase ledger, E-invoicing)
  4. Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences
  5. Strong time management, analytical troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  6. Experience in the House Building/Construction/Civils industries is desirable
