About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Beer and Cider Buyer to join our team at C&C Group plc. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for negotiating commercial terms for beer and cider products, ensuring that we meet our budgeted cost savings and income targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and assess category performance to inform procurement decisions
  • Manage new product launches and oversee the product recall process
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to ensure a market-fit product range
  • Regularly review pricing to guide the sales team
  • Ensure accurate logging of commercial agreements in the ERP system
  • Support ad hoc projects as required

About You

You will bring in-depth knowledge of the beer and cider industries, combined with advanced negotiation skills that enable you to secure favourable commercial terms. Your understanding of supply chain dynamics and cost-to-serve principles will support efficient and effective decision-making.

Professional Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Degree calibre
  • Min 5 years FMCG experience
  • Strong knowledge of the drinks industry an advantage
  • Full driving license
  • Excellent IT skills
