About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our mental health support team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their potential and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with mental health issues, working closely with them to develop and implement tailored support plans.
  • Conduct regular key working sessions to assess and address the needs of service users, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to ensure seamless support and care for service users.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and carers, ensuring effective communication and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in mental health or a related field (desirable).
  • Experience working in the mental health sector, with a strong understanding of the recovery model and person-centred approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts, to meet the needs of the service.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training, to ensure expertise in mental health support and recovery.
