Job Title: Pipefitter

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at Cammach Bryant in Aberdeen. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for laying, marking out, cutting, forming, and joining metal pipe in a busy fabrication shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in company safety procedures and pre-job planning, including toolbox talks and risk assessments.
  • Laying and marking out metal pipe, cutting, forming, and joining metal pipe.
  • Aligning and fixing pieces together through welding, bolting, threading, and bending.
  • Producing tack welds on various items using manual arc, tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas, and brazing.
  • Maintaining quality of work and ensuring compliance with job-specific procedures and qualifications.
  • Working under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods.
Requirements:
  • Operating equipment used in pipefitting and fabricating, including workshop machinery, tools, and welding.
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, materials, tools used in metal fabrication, welding, maintenance, repair, safety practices, and procedures.
  • 39-hour basic week, with overtime thereafter.
