Job Title: Interim Finance Officer - FP&A

We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Officer to join our team at Rutherford Cross. As an Interim Finance Officer, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely completion of all period-end tasks, including the preparation and posting of accounting journals.
  • Prepare periodic reporting packs for the business, including commentaries to explain variances in budget/forecast.
  • Assist the finance business partners in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including attendance at meetings with other departments.
  • Identify and analyze areas of costs to the business on a regular basis.
  • Support the FBP's with periodic reconciliations related to their respective directorates.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed on a timely basis and adequate supporting information is provided.
  • Assist the Head of FP&A and Business Partners with any ad hoc requests or project work.
Requirements:
  • Must be available at short notice.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a similar Management Accounting role.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
