Job Title: Complex Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Health Your Way. As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to a lovely gentleman who lives at home in Bolton with his wife and two grown-up daughters.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a client who requires complex care and support. You will be working as part of a team to provide care and assistance with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication management, and mobility support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to the client, including personal care, medication management, and mobility support
  • Assist the client with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support the client with communication and mobility issues
  • Work collaboratively with the client's family and other healthcare professionals to ensure the client's needs are met
  • Maintain accurate records of the client's care and support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 months of care experience in the UK
  • A full and clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Experience with complex care interventions, such as Tracheostomy, peg care, and communication issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to learn and develop your skills
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.50 per hour (day rate) and £13.50 per hour (night rate), with an enhanced bank holiday rate of £18.75 per hour. You will also receive a pension if eligible, 5.6 weeks annual leave per year pro rata, and full certificated training on all aspects of the role completed in the workplace.

We are a dynamic and supportive team, and we offer part-time or full-time hours, day shifts usually covering 8.00am – 6.00pm and night shifts usually covering 9.00pm – 9.30am or 11.00pm – 9.30am. Actual days of work and shift hours can be discussed at interview stage and negotiated for the right candidates.
