We are seeking a number of experienced and committed Residential Support Workers to join a newly established children's facility in the Oldham area.
This facility provides specialized residential care and assistance for children up to 18 years old with Learning Disabilities (LD) and/or autism, who may also exhibit challenging behaviors.

- A 4-bed facility catering to children with LD, Autism, and challenging behaviors.

Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a new team to create a safe and nurturing home-like environment for the children and young people.
- Provide 24-hour care and support for all children residing at the facility.
- Personal care may be necessary, depending on the individual needs of each child.
- Willingness to work night shifts and be available on-call as required.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is desirable.
- Two years of relevant experience supporting children and young people with additional needs.
- Commitment to working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is essential, with support provided.
- Completion of all mandatory training, including Team Teach Level 2, if selected.
- Prior experience and understanding of challenging behaviors is essential.
- A fully enhanced DBS on the update service is required. Assistance with a new DBS application can be provided if necessary.
- Experience working with children with SEN, such as Autism and Learning Disabilities, along with challenging behaviors, is essential.
- Compliance with all relevant checks to adhere to legal and safer recruitment guidelines is mandatory.
- Submission of a comprehensive CV that includes any gaps in employment.
