Job Title: Design Coordinator/Facade Designer

We are a leading construction recruitment agency, Construction Recruitment Services, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Coordinator/Facade Designer to join our team.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Design Coordinator/Facade Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facade design, particularly with aluminium rainscreen cladding and terracotta cladding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for facade projects, including metalwork, glazing, and drylining.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.
  • Manage the design process from conception through to final installation, ensuring all designs are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team throughout the construction phase.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and resolve any design-related issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in facade design, with a focus on aluminium rainscreen cladding and terracotta cladding.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
