Position: Sports Education Instructor (Key Stages 3 and 4)

Contract: Full-time (permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement captivating physical education sessions for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students, instilling a passion for athletics, fitness, and healthy living.
  • Craft and execute a comprehensive curriculum that includes a diverse range of sports and physical activities, customized to meet the unique needs and capabilities of KS3 and KS4 learners.
  • Encourage teamwork, leadership qualities, and good sportsmanship through engaging and inclusive educational experiences.
  • Evaluate and track student progress, offering constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Prepare students for assessments, ensuring they possess the essential knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and engage in professional development opportunities to refine teaching methodologies and stay informed about the latest advancements in physical education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related discipline.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent credentials.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Physical Education to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Thorough understanding of various sports, fitness strategies, and health-related subjects pertinent to the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to engage students and foster positive relationships.
  • Capability to cultivate a safe and inclusive educational environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of students.
