Senior Agricultural Solicitor Opportunity

We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious regional law firm based in Lancashire.

This is a fantastic chance to join a leading law firm that offers specialist sector-specific legal advice to clients across Lancashire and Cumbria.

The firm is recognised as an employer of choice within the legal sector and has grown at a pace unrivalled by other firms in the county.

Due to the recent and continuing expansion of the firm, the firm seeks to appoint an experienced rural and agricultural solicitor to join the Rural Property department.

The Rural Property department handles an exciting and varied workload, acting for investors, lenders, high-profile entrepreneurs, and large estate owners.

The ideal candidate will have experience advising and representing clients on issues relating to rural land ownership and agricultural matters and have strong technical proficiency and knowledge of AHA 2020 and farm business tenancies, secured lending, farm partnerships, and succession rights.

There is a steady and increasing flow of new instructions from existing clients, and the firm is seeking a motivated and technically strong property solicitor at the senior level with an ambition to develop and build effective client relationships and supervise team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising and representing clients on rural land ownership and agricultural matters
  • Handling a varied workload, including acting for investors, lenders, and high-profile entrepreneurs
  • Developing and building effective client relationships
  • Supervising team members

Requirements:

  • Experience in rural and agricultural law
  • Strong technical proficiency and knowledge of AHA 2020 and farm business tenancies, secured lending, farm partnerships, and succession rights
  • Excellent technical skills and legal expertise
  • Ability to build own network and develop business
