Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our team at THE PIG. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Housekeeper in the efficient running of the housekeeping team, including supervising and developing a team of Room Attendants and Linen Porters.
  • Set an example and encourage the development of team members, carrying out monthly performance reviews to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Lead the team from the front-line to deliver exceptional levels of service and standards across all areas of the hotel.
  • Play a key role in the preparation and cleanliness of all bedrooms and public areas, ensuring the condition of all furnishings, fittings, and equipment is maintained.
  • Liaise with the maintenance team and manage all linen, deliveries, and stock.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Deputy Head Housekeeper or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
