Teacher of Geography Job Description

Job Title: Teacher of Geography

Location: Hackney, London

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £160 - £250 per day

Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Geography to join our secondary education academy in Hackney, London. As a Teacher of Geography, you will be responsible for teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, monitoring and assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Teach Geography to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality lessons and promoting academic growth.
  2. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Geography curriculum, sharing best practices and expertise.
  4. Support extracurricular activities related to Geography, promoting student engagement and enthusiasm.
Requirements
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  2. Proven experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level.
  3. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
  4. A passion for education and a commitment to student achievement.
